Today, it takes about a week and $1,000, creating terabytes of data. In NIBR IT, we create tools that empower scientists to accelerate drug discoveries and improve patients' lives. We are building the data, business logic, analysis and visualization platforms for our customers – 5,000 scientists worldwide -- that allow them to solve problems that have never been solved before.
As data scientists, we collaborate with chemists and biologists as part of cross-disciplinary teams. We have helped advance treatments by coming up with solutions to answer questions we could only previously ask.

- • Write server-side code for web-based applications.
- • Develop prototypes quickly and create robust high-volume production applications.
- • Build internal systems used by thousands of NIBR scientists around the world with your domain expertise in biology, chemistry, genetics and all other scientific functions.
Skills & Requirements
◦ BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
◦ 4 years of relevant work experience, including large systems software design and development experience, with knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
◦ Strong understanding of, and practical experience with, Java web application development.
◦ MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
◦ Programming experience in Java with strong OO skills.
◦ A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
◦ Experience developing or designing large software systems.
